Retro build Basement

This project is a complete excavation under the whole footprint of an existing detached house. This is a live project but at this stage we have installed a complete cavity drain membrane waterproofing system to the walls and floors of the basement followed by insulation to the floor and screed finish on top of the underfloor heating system. The walls are to be finished with an independent dry lining system by the main contractor following the installation and running of electric and communication wires as well as heating and plumbing pipes. Of special note on this project is the sump pump system capable of handling the discharges of grey water from washing machines, sewage, as well as the intusive groundwater.
